Dave Hughes sounds like Bob Dylan

In fairness, I’ve always thought that if you are going to publicist what you do, the good should always come with the bad. Therefore, here’s a link to my first ever Bad review. Well, it’s not totally awful, we still got two out of five - that’s 20% for effort! Also, people who are turned on by “harmonica abuse” and poor vocal capability will still have to listen to the CD to find out about its content, themes, style, instruments and political viewpoints (my own, not Evan Greer’s).
I’ve got some solo gigs coming up in the next two weeks, leading up to the headline slot at Oxjam on the 24th. These dates are:
  • 6th October - Nice’n'Sleazys, Glasgow
  • 11th October - Henrys Cellar Bar, Edinburgh, 7pm with A Lost Generation, Sick Sinus and Sad Society
  • 17th October - Fanny By Gaslight, Kilmarnock, 3pm afternoon show
With the Oxjam show, the team released 100 early bird tickets at the start of last week. There are currently around 29 left, so if you are looking to get entry to the full thing, and want to do so for cheap, follow this link now!
